I began photographing weddings in 2011 and have been a full-time wedding photographer since 2016. My experience with film photography dates back to my earliest memories in the dunes of Death Valley, on the coast of Big Sur and ultimately in the dark room with my dad. Over my career, I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings across North America and abroad, documenting a wide range of cultural traditions.
Trust is at the heart of my approach because I believe it’s the foundation for creating natural, joyful imagery. After 15 years of photographing weddings, I’ve learned that couples create their best photographs when they feel comfortable, supported, and confident that they’re in good hands. I’m committed to clear communication and treating every wedding with the care and attention it deserves. My goal is simple — to make this process easy and rewarding so you can enjoy being completely present with the people you love.
For weddings in Los Angeles, Orange County, and Palm Springs, travel is included. For engagement and portrait sessions, a travel fee of $0.50 per driven mile will be added to your proposal. For weddings outside of the mentioned areas, I provide you with a custom travel quote. Transparency is a priority to me, so all costs will be discussed and approved by you prior to booking. Additional costs may include permit fees where applicable. No sales tax will be added to the total of any bookings.
Engagement sessions are relaxed and designed for you to get comfortable in front of my camera. Most sessions begin 90 minutes before sunset and last anywhere from 60-90 minutes. If you’re unsure what to wear or where to have your portraits taken, I’m happy to advise on wardrobe and help you choose a location that fits your style and personality. You can schedule your engagement session anytime between booking and your wedding date. During peak wedding season, weekend availability is limited, so I recommend arranging your session well in advance. Plan your dream date and expect an abundant gallery of your new favorite memories captured meaningfully on digital and film.
Timeless storytelling. I aim to create effortless imagery that embodies nostalgia and lighthearted romance. I value honest color palettes and draw inspiration from the light, rugged terrain, and quiet vastness of Southern California’s landscape. My hope is that my work will tell a true story and invoke deep emotion.
Most couples tell me they’re worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, but I promise that you’ll relax into it. I’ll guide you through the entire process with simple direction that gets you out of your head and into the moment. Family formals are of course unique to each wedding, but they should always be fun and efficient. We’ll talk in depth about this process leading up to your day to ensure that we’re on the same wavelength and can execute this seamlessly.
To get started, fill out a form on my contact page. I’ll reply via email sharing my availability and answering any initial questions you may have. We’ll schedule a phone consultation where we can get into all the specifics of your day. If you decide to move forward, I will email you a proposal and contract. A 30% retainer is required to secure your wedding date and the remainder is due one month prior to your wedding. Most couples prefer to pay via credit card, but there are alternative options if needed.
