Driven by a passion for poetic imagery, my motivation comes from an innate desire to express both beauty and truth. I began photographing weddings in 2011 and decided to take my business full time at the beginning of 2016. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph hundreds of weddings across North America and abroad. Whether you’re looking for Wedding or Portrait Photography, I take that trust very seriously and I’m humbled that you’re considering me. From inquiry to delivery, my commitment is to make this process fun and seamless for you. I will tell your story in the most beautiful and honest way I know how.
My pursuit of film photography started when assisting my dad. Growing up, I spent most days in his darkroom. Turning the paper in the developer was my favorite job as a young girl. In those moments we stood back, watching the story we saw in real time unfold again. Even at a young age I valued the sacred memories that images can carry. It was passed on to me that a photograph should stand the test of time. I enjoy creating lighthearted and classic photographs you’ll feel proud to pass down through generations. I aim to create effortless imagery that embodies nostalgia and romance. Honest color palettes and sun drenched scenes inspire me.
my STORY
I fell in love with weddings at a young age as well. I grew up alternating between Father of the Bride and My Best Friend’s Wedding, later adding About Time to the movie list. I’m deeply sentimental and I’ve loved weddings for as long as I can remember. I’m thankful for a career that allows me to pursue a simple life built around travel and family. I primarily work out of Southern California these days, but my husband is from the west coast of Scotland, so we frequent the United Kingdom.
